Then why did I have the bowl, Bart?

Song of the Day: Caring Is Creepy -The Shins

Book of the Day: Fellowship of the Ring

Movie of the Day: Be Kind Rewind

I found out today that all my life I have wanted a pair of Buddha earrings and I never even knew it. I found them at target while looking to replace my cz’s that I lost wakeboarding. I am one hundred percent positive whoever designed these was like, dude, lets make a pair of earrings JUST FOR HAILEY.

why mormons rock.

i love being mormon. i mean i really really REALLY love being mormon. i can't imagine living my life any other way. being up at byui has been awesome because i have had a lot of opportunities to realize how awesome belonging to the church of jesus christ of later day saints actually is!

these are some of the reasons i decided this weekend why being mormon is so awesome.

1) while tons of other college students spend their saturday nights dead drunk (or worse) mormons spend there saturday night singing along to the movie Aladdin.
2) if there are more than 5 mormons in one room then, inevitably, at least 2 people will have some sort of wierd connection. Usually somebody knew somebody from somebodies mission or somebodies parents dated at byu or their ancestors were in the same handcart company.
3)three words: THE AWKWARD GAME.
4) general conference. there is nothing more amazing than modern-day revelation. epecially when modern-day revelation is accompanied by an excuse to spend all day in your pj's and kick scott's trash at Settler's of Caatan.

All Good Things....

Nothing says love like footie pajamas!

Pond Skimming! What can I say, I have the best fans!

An old school New Mexico pic-post food fight!

The greatest night ever. 3am laundry.

Potter and I the night of graduation. My fav pic!

Bryan making fun of my dislike of feet whilst
at the mtc!

My gang of roommates. Hard to believe this was
for a ward party, eh.

Ben and Heath getting close. I love the 311ers!

Last halloween for the ward party. We were
old ladies.

I love everything that amber and I do together.

The old saying keeps coming to mind over these past few days. Although i am super excited to get this semester over and done with, i am less then willing to have to say goodbye to my rexburg family. Amber, Terren, and I have been roommates for the 2 greatest semesters EVER and it is so hard to believe that they will be off track next semester. On top of that i am one semester away from graduation! what happened to college?!? It seems like just yesterday I was saying goodbye to 2 of my best friends , Bryan Blacker and Steven Brewer, as they left to spend 2 years to serve the Lord in Argentina and Spain. They will both be returning home in August and i will be a college graduate! What the poo!
I think that is the hardest part of life changing, not being able to see the people you love whenever you want. When my friends turned 19 I had to say goodbye to them as they left on there missions. When i got accepted to byui i had to say goodbye to my family and my best friend sarah. When last summer semester ended brandilyn and pathetically cried because, well i dont really know. I guess the awesomeness of us living together ending was pretty sad. Anywho, Amber and Terren are leaving and I'm graduating soon and will be leaving everyone I love up here. What the poo! i just want to bring everyone with me everywhere! it would be me and this weird caravan of people i aquire through life.
well, despite the sadness of not being able to laugh at mustard commercials with amber, eating with brandilyn, or finding blaine asleep on my couch for the rest of my life I have so much to look forward too! Bryan comes home in 131 days, I get to go see Jack's Mannequin in a week, Terren and i get to have a mini road trip to SLC, i get to hang with my family for a week, and i get to start working on my misson papers soon!!! i am so so SO excited to get ready to spend a year and a half serving the Lord on a mission for Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! I can't wait to work like i've never worked in my life!

its been a long time....

i happened upon my friend brandilyn's blog today and was impressed by how freakin awesome she is at blogging and got jealous and decided to do some blogging of my own. mostly because i saw that picture she posted of her homework hair and it made me laugh because i have study hair right now. study hair consists of bangs being pulled into a messy ponytail or bun on the top of my head so that they don't get in my eyes while i am reading. its awesome. you should try it sometime.
this last semester has been a good and i am sad to see it end. i had the privilege of living with 2 girls who will be my friends for life and i already preparing myself for the ball-fest that will happen when we hall have to say our goodbyes. this has been my fav semester up here at byui and i have made an awesome group of friends that are always up and going! Apt 122 is still awesome but i have found that it gets twice as awesome when paired with Apt 121! i have had such a great group of girlfriends this semester and we have had a great time having sleepovers, sidewalking, fighting, and pranking. on top of having the best tower in tuscany we also have the best ward at byui! 36 ward has always been a good one but this semester everyone has been especially close and there is always something going on.

yesterday for fhe i tried to eat an entire Big Jud's burger. i got halfway through the lb of beef wedged between what appeared to be an entire house salad and a loaf of bread. i wish i could have finished it.

Tuscany 122 is awesome.

After many days of planning my apartments greatest performance took place tonight. A few months back my apartment stole a giant beloved jenga from our good friends in Rockland 311. They were very unhappy that it was gone because it was their apartment "thing". We proceeded to give it back to them piece by piece over one week. We started by frosting several pieces like a cake and leaving it on their doorstep. We also threw a few pieces into the Rockland pool, taped a few of them to some statues on the round-about close to our apartments, put them next to books in the library (providing them with a book list of course!), and left the rest at the famous Idaho pitstop Big Juds. The entire week we had many close calls and were constantly worried that we would be caught and pranked within an inch of our lives! We were all so relieved when we finally got rid of the whole thing and were also excited because they had no idea it was us and we figured that they would never ever find out. Well about a week ago we found out that our ward was having a talent show. We thought it might be funny to impersonate our friends in in 311 because they are all very quirky guys with some pretty original compulsions. In writing our skit we realized how funny it would be if we finally revealed that we were the self-titled "Skanky Jenga Gankers!". We wrote the skit, borrowed the jenga from them, and spent a week secretly stealing articles of clothing from them. As I said before, tonight was our performance, and we rocked it! They were pretty shocked that we had done such a good job of impersonating them and even more shocked that it was us that had taken the jenga! I'm sure they are already scheming a way to get back at us. We probably deserve it. I had the opportunity to play the other half of my brain, Scotty, and let me just say it was the most fun I've had in a long time! It's funny how when you spend enought time with someone how you pick up on their weird little mannerisms. By weird I mean individualistic, since I know that Scotty is going to be one of the only people to read this anyway. That and brandilyn when she is too bored to make teacup candles!

Circus in 20 days!

this morning i felt particularly greasy. that is probably because brandilyn and i went to jack in the box at like 11 o'clock last night. it's a good thing she got married because i was on the road to obesity with all the late night pasta parties and milkshake runs. instead i spend my time drinking enormous 50 cent horkelys sodas (aka getting drunk), complaining about everything with scotty, and watching michelle pick apart rice cakes with her boney fingers, and having an amazing time with my kick-a roommates. i don't know why God decided to smile upon my apt this semester but i guess he got tired of putting the craziest people possible tuscany 122. last night we watched Fun With Dick and Jane which made me miss my best bud, bryan. he gets back from his mission in Buenos Aires, Argentina in like 9 months. Its hard to believe that he has been gone for more than a year. time flies when you're in the middle of nowhere.
